Dr. Jarboe lives in Ellicott City, Maryland.  She received Bachelor's degrees in Medical Technology and French Literature from the University of Maryland.  After working in hospital laboratories for years, Dr. Jarboe returned to the same university where she then received her DDS.

    She practiced for almost 14 years in general dentistry and then returned to school at the University of Minnesota where she received her Certificate in Endodontics and a Masters Degree in Dental Science.  Dr Jarboe is currently a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry.  She truly loves her work and is enthusiastic about each and every case.

    The love of Dr. Jarboe's life would have to be her six beautiful grandchildren - Jack, Naomi, Micah, Henry, Mattie and Kilian.  Don't be surprised if  "Inna", as Jack has named her, takes a moment to introduce you to them.  She envelopes everyone around her from her family to her patients and staff with genuine warmth and compassion.  Dr. Jarboe seeks to dispel the myth of the "horrible root canal" one patient at a time.

    Dr. Ghahraman completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University with a major in Biology and a minor in Spanish.  This Blue Devil fan continued her studies at the University of Maryland Dental School where she received her dental degree as well as her specialty training in endodontics.

    Dr. Ghahraman lives in Ellicott City with her husband Hessam, a U of MD  Oral Surgery resident.  She has a charm about her that people love.  Helping our patients through a sometimes stressful time with her careful listening and detailed explanations throughout each and every procedure, is one of  Dr. Ghahraman's special talents.

    Vera, whom we lovingly refer to as the office troublemaker, is one of our dental assistants.  Prior to entering the dental field she was a barista at Starbucks and a student working toward a computer science degree.   Currently Vera is completing her prerequisite course work at Howard County Community College.  She will soon be applying to the University of Maryland's Dental Hygiene program.

    Vera grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone (West Africa) and moved to Maryland after graduating high school.  Vera is a talented assistant to our doctors and is very gifted at comforting our patients with her warm spirit.  Vera loves working together with the entire office staff  and because of Vera's love for cooking we frequently find our lunchroom swelling with mountains of spicy West African cuisine.

    Jessica started working for Dr. Jarboe after attending Fransican University of Stubenville(Ohio) where she graduated with a degree in Business Management.  Jessica loves how each staff member really cares about the practice and she is proud to be a part of the team. 

    Jessica was born outside of Buffalo, NY and is currently living in Laurel, MD  with  her husband and her adorable kitten (an anniversary gift from her husband).  She loves spending time with her family, reading, camping, cooking and watching really good movies. 

    Alicia works as a dental assistant and helps out at the front desk in our office.  She was born and raised in Linthicum, MD and has an adorable son, Dominic, who means the world to her.  Alicia's unique talent for multitasking makes it possible for her to seamlessly integrate the front office and the clinical area.

   June 11, 2011 Alicia married the love of her life Vince!  She moved to Edgewater, MD where she lives minutes from her best-friend Jennifer Bone. For fun Alicia enjoys spending time with friends and family.  Her passion is being on the water whether it's fishing, jetskiing, tubing or wakeboarding.

     Jen works at the front desk and is a also dental assistant in our office.  She recently graduated from Towson University with a bachelors degree in psychology.

     Jen is neighbors with her bestie Alicia Sullivan in Edgewater, MD.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her fiance, taking her dogs Ginger and Layla to the beach, gardening, cooking, boating and hanging out with her friends and family.  Jen's sweet personality, in combination with her technical skills, makes our patients feel safe and comfortable in her care.
